We present a new highlight: the vintage-style Newport Diver diver’s watch with a mechanical Swiss Made movement.

This extraordinary diver’s watch reflects the Herbelin family’s passion for water sports almost perfectly. The angular cushion-shaped case in the style of the 1970s with a ceramic bezel impresses at first glance. The case of the Divers is made of polished 316L stainless steel, with only the rounded corners, which run slightly backwards, having a matt brushed finish.

It is crowned by a polished navy blue ceramic bezel that can be rotated on one side. The cogwheel-like “120 bezel clicks” allow the bezel to be turned even when wearing gloves. A detail that can only be found on high-class diver’s watches. Protected by a double anti-reflective and domed sapphire crystal, the dial has a color gradient that runs from a deep black from the edge to a navy blue tone in the center. The latter is in turn reflected in the color of the ceramic bezel.

To guarantee optimum visibility for diving, the dial is equipped with oversized silver-colored hands and hour markers, both of which are coated with a blue luminous material. This allows excellent readability, especially in the darkness of the deep sea. The round dial is framed by a clearly marked and structured minute ring with bright stick indices.

Also highlighted is the white Daydate display (bilingual: with either French or English display) with black numerals on the 3, again for easy reading, even in extreme situations. The dial is rounded off with a cross of fine white lines. The blue FKM rubber strap in the same color as the ceramic bezel is both sporty and stylish. At the same time, it combines absolute wearing comfort with the high resistance and robustness of a strap made from high-quality FKM rubber. It is water-resistant up to 30 bar (300 m).

With the Newport Diver, the Herbelins once again demonstrate their expertise in function and design. It combines a sporty diver’s watch with attractive extras, which is also an eye-catcher in retro style.

The DNA of the Newport collection can of course be found in the details, such as the crown with the beautifully decorated steering wheel, the central strap lugs and the “HERBELIN” lettering engraved in the oscillating weight. Simply unmistakably HERBELIN!
