The company, which is still family-run today, was founded over 70 years ago by the watchmaker and namesake HERBELIN in Charquemont, in the French Jura, the heart of the art of watchmaking. HERBELIN achieved its international breakthrough 30 years ago with the top collection “Newport”, which arose from the Herbelin family’s passion for sailing. Only Swiss quartz, automatic and mechanical movements tick inside the watches. Only high-quality materials and components are consistently used in the manufacture of the timepieces. Every single HERBELIN watch is manufactured, assembled and checked in the company’s own workshop.
